Hmmm... the "supernatural, corrupting force" within the source material (this is a fanfic for a Japanese anime that just happens to take place in Germany as part of its fairy-tale motif) doesn't feel particularly Jewish-coded to me, but I am trying to keep in mind how actual European folk and fairy tales lean on antisemitism and avoid replicating those ideas.
